Baby weight

If baby is too heavy before 37 weeks , what happens? Let say it's already 3.5kg before full term. #advicepls

You still can give birth normally provided that your baby's head is facing downwards. I have a friend who gave birth normally when her babies was more 4kg (she gave birth to 6 children & all her babies are about that weight). I even know someone who gave birth to her baby normally at 5kg 😮 though you will have some tear and need stitches.

Don't rush into inducing labor cause of the weight. My SIL couldn't carry her 3kg baby and ended up inducing labor and couldn't give birth naturally. Doc had no choice but to do an Emergency c-sect

actually my baby is estimated only not very accurate. 4kg also can natural birth. I think you should ask your gynae under what circumstances you will need c sec etc.

My gynae says even bigger than 4kg also can give birth naturally provided both mummy and baby is in healthy condition

Emergency C sect if too big

Ask your gynae
