Birthclub: April 2026

Hey ladies, increased nt and no nasal bone at 12 weeks

I went for nt scan and found this result totally heartbroken, has anyone faced this - My Report: 1. Nuchal Translucency (NT): 5.3 mm 2. Nasal Bone (NB): Not visible/absent 3. ARSA: Present (soft marker, sometimes seen in healthy babies too). 4. Risk Ratios: • T21 (Down Syndrome): 1 in 2 (very high risk on screening) • T18 (Edwards Syndrome): 1 in 24 (increased risk) • T13 (Patau Syndrome): 1 in 374 (relatively lower #askmommies #Needadvice

I had this Nuchal Translucency too when I was pregnant with my 2nd boy. It was 67%. But I did not terminate my pregnancy. I cried almost everyday, and prayed all the time to God. Yes, it was devastating. But, when he was born, he was normal 100%. God heard my prayers and cries. I was very glad that I did not terminate my pregnancy. He is healthy and now turning 15 next year.
