HG , 3rd Trimester & Working.

I was diagnosed with HG when i was 9 weeks pregnant. I was hospitalized and was given drips. Moving forward now I am 31 weeks and the exhaustion and fatigue is real. I still vomit and have heartburn, back pain, etc that kept me up all night. Going to work is more challenging now. Tbh, i feel like i might be loosing grip of myself mentally, emotionally and physically soon. I am a first time mom, and I am not sure what I can do. Is there like a support group or something? And if anyone had been in this position, what did you do to make yourself feel better? Thank you in advance.. #advicepls #1stimemom

Super Mum

Hi dear, thank you for sharing ❤️ Pregnancy can be really tough. I was working and having vomiting and pains too. Also had drip and injections to stop vomiting, had to take medicine for the severe pain.. it was seriously not fun at all and I couldn’t wait to deliver. On top of that, I had irrational thoughts that my husband wasn’t showing me enough love or giving enough attention, and some days were a big struggle to keep sane. I was crying some nights because of the pain and discomfort. I think I decided to take things one step at a time. Everything put together was too overwhelming, but I could handle one moment at a time. I did my work as best as I could, but if I needed a short break, I was honest about it. I looked at baby’s ultrasound pictures and planned baby’s room and organised the things to focus on what was important.. that I was going through all this for her, and she was worth it. And you know what? Despite my struggles during labour too (lol.. the pregnancy just had to end in a difficult way too), she truly was worth it. I’m happy to lend a listening ear anytime:) if you drop me an email at [email protected], I’ll give you my number. Take care dear ❤️
