Feeding while baby's asleel

I wake my 1week baby up for feeding session every 3-4hours. She's not always fully awake during the feeding session. Is this safe and ok? After feeding, I tried to burp her too while she's still sleeping.

Yes its okay, my boy is 4 weeks and my confinement lady gets him up every 3 hours for his feed and he's usually not awake or fully awake. Just make sure to nudge your baby once in awhile to remind her to swallow to prevent choking. He's been doing this since he was born and he's a chubby little fellow now :)
