Yellow discharge

Hi, I told my gynae that I have yellow discharge, and he took my discharge and urine for testing. He gave me two kinds of antibiotics for treatment of UTI..as wbc found in urine and discharge shows with bacteria.. But i actually do not have any common symptoms of UTI. Is it normal to take two kind of antibiotics for yellow discharge? Sometimes yellow, sometimes white. Thanks!! Just concern that I am taking anti biotic unnecessarily as I have no itch, pain or urge to pee. Only rare occasion like cramps feeling when peeing
