You can schedule your appt should you have you preferred hospital/gynae. Alternatively, you can go poly for referral and therefore be under subsidy patient. However, it may be only between 6 to 9 weeks that this scan will be done. They will check for sac/fetus of baby and subsequently book you for upcoming other appts.

Of course you can, you just have to go to poly and request for referral. you can let them know the preferred choice of hospital for referral. For me it was either NUH or KKH. And both hospital Ive taken for two pregnancy on different years.

If all is well, week 7 to 8 is the best time to have a first scan. you can check with your gynae clinic on when is the best time to come in for first visit 😊

If you don’t feel any discomfort you can wait a week or 2 to do your first scan

I schedule mine after week 7, although some schedule theirs from 6-8weeks.
