quad marker report

Hi i m 17 weeks pregnant and my gyne suggest for amniocenthesis because in my quad report trisomy screening is positive but in dual marker test it is negative. Is it possible same test result shows different result for same? Is there any complication in pregnancy ? Pls suggest
