Cough during pregnancy

I have been cough since last friday till no voice so I went to doctor nearby my house area on sat The doctor gave me Dhasedyl Syrup for cough.. but I go Google search its says not safe for pregnancy but I already drank for 2days. Will there be any harm to the baby? #advicepls

Hello Jesslynn for any common sickness like flu cough fever stomach flu diarrhea etc pls check with your gynae during next visit what are the medications recommended, few gynaes or clinics even give a medicine kit with such basic medicines that are safe for pregnant women

Did you tell your doctor about your pregnancy?? Usually they will prescribe one that is safe for pregnant women.
