i'm currently 24 weeks pregnant

I just did my test today! KKH glucose drink is orange, taste like a sweeter orange Fanta without gas. It makes the throat a bit itchy from the high sugar but it's not too bad. can sip a bit of water to wash it down if required. I brought a straw to use so it's easier and faster to drink, you can try that too! no food, drinks or vomitting until all blood tests are done. total draw blood 3 times, once before drinking (fasting blood test), once 1h and 2h after drinking.

don't be scared! it's not bad at all. i got the one that is orange in colour in a bottle and it tasted normal like a fanta orange drink without it being carbonated 😍 but pls sit down comfortably after that as you might get sugar rushed like me! hehe i straight away went to ask for a bed from the nurse to rest on after my second jab of blood taking. so i took 1hr nap while waiting for my third jab 😊 it will be fine mummy trust me 🫶

It'll be fine. I just took mine last week. Have a proper meal the night before to last you the hours of glucose test. The glucose drink is just a small bottle and it tasted like the fanta orange but without the gas. Don't think too much and just finish the bottle :) That's what I did. U can take sips of plain water after while waiting for the next hour and 2 hours to draw blood. Good luck!

it's just a small bottle of sugar drink. now better as they have orange flavour unlike Last time no flavour😅they will draw blood before and after drinking it. you also got to fast from 12 mid night onwards. only can sip some water. I'll be having mine in 2 days time. Good luck!

Same here! We’re on the same week! 🤩 But my appt is in the coming 5days. Dont think too much. U can do it! I heard some people suggesting to bring and use a straw so u get to enjoy it instead. 😅

Mine was lime flavor and I actually quite like it 😂 i heard if you can ask for chilled, it’ll be better but mine was room temp. It’s just like a sweet drink to me :) don’t worry!

No worries I just did the test yesterday. the new flavours is lemon lime. the last time orange one was more sweet. ask for it chilled. it will taste better.
