Anyone done amniocentesis before? Is it safe?

I had been scheduled to amniocentesis due to they found out absent nasal bone for my baby. But my panorama test showing low risk and during 12 week scan they did say nasal bone is present. Am worried it will harm my baby am 20 weeks plus 2 now.

yes i have. it’s comes with risks but very minimal. someone shared with me, you have higher risk of accident crossing the road than miscarriage from amnio, but ppl still cross road everyday. i did it and baby is perfectly healthy

I see but I didn't do amnio as I went for second opinion and my baby is fine and doctor say no point risk it since panorama come back low risk :) thanks dear for sharing
