Reduce bm oversupply

I don't want to store too much breast milk in the freezer. What can I do to make my supply just enough or just a little bit more than what my baby need? Problem with oversupply during first pregnancy. TIA #advicepls

If possible, just latch baby on demand and do breast compressions while latching. Don’t pump during the first 6 weeks. If it’s too engorged, you can hand express. Wait for your supply to regulate first before pumping to store. You also don’t need to pump so much or too early. A supply of 1 week is sufficient.

If ure pumping, I suggest to cut your pumping duration. If u always pump for 20mins maybe cut to 15min. So your boobs won’t be completely drained. Give yourself about a week for your body to readjust to this new reduced demand
