Spotting at 7 week pregnancy

I am currently about 7 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I am experiencing spotting pink/ light brown. I am also exclusively breast feeding on demand. I’ve seen a doctor and was told that it is normal so just monitor. Is not sitting well with me. How much progesterone (mg) does a obstetrician prescribe for such case? #pleasehelp
