I am applying for new work when I found out I am pregnant. Does an employer have a right to say No to me or its against employment act??

I ever apply for work when i was pregnant, unfortunately MOST company did not employ me when i told them that i was in my early weeks. Not sure whats the reason behind it :/

i searched abt it and its against the emoployment act or smth. Hopefully i can go to work :(
