Infant care or take care of baby yourself at home (FTM)

Hihi, I'm just wondering if there's any pros/cons in sending a newborn to infant care? Heard the infant care will teach and monitor development. Is that something do-able by yourself? Or will it be too challenging for a FTM? Are there a lot of things to teach a baby? What are the concerns of both options? For mummies who send baby to infant care or is the main caregiver at home, please feel free to share your experience. Thank you so much! #firsttimemom #AskingAsAnewMom #Needadvice

There are pros and cons. I send my boy when he is 2 months old. Even though I have helper, but my mil don’t want her to take care because she wants her to prioritise housework. My mil doesn’t want to help to take care too. Both me and my husband need to work so we have no choice to put him in infant care. He tends to get sick easily and got HFMD quite a lot of times. But other than that, I feel that it’s ok because he is trying to build up his immune system. Now he’s 14m and his body is stronger. As a first time mum, I do not know how to teach him, the school helps a lot. I was worried that he will just be lying down there but when he starts do new things like bubbling or grabbing things, you knew that the school teaches him a lot. He gets to socialise and make new friends which is good. Because if I am thinking to send him when he is 18 months or older, I think he will not get use to it and cry. For helper, I feel is by luck to get a good one. Mine used to be good but when my boy gets older, she starts to be lazy. She will only help when you asked her to do things, if not she will not care. And she will prefer to do housework than taking care of baby.
