Safer to stay home closer to EDD?

Heard that exercising or walking too much might help bring labour faster especially when it’s close to your EDD. Is it advisable to go out lesser, when you are nearing your EDD?

I walk out often when nearing my EDD for all my 4 babies cos I'm an active person and I like to go out lol. Actually you don't need to worry if you're outside then suddenly comes the pain. Normally contractions will not be as frequent at first. Probably 15-20 mins. From there you need to start to time your intervals. It may take hours or days for the pain to come frequent and intense.

you can exercise or walk at home. no need to go out. as long as you have enough space at home.
