HCG indicator of baby's weeks

Is HCG level a good indicator of how far along we are in a normal pregnancy?

Honestly no. I had a miscarriage before and my hcg level was still high.

but I was thinking more along the lines of if normal pregnancy will hcg be an indicator of how far along we are.
