Will balloon popping damage newborn's hearing?

Hi we have a baby girl who is around 2.5 months old. Recently a balloon popped near her. She cried immediately when this happened. Will the loud sound from the balloon popping damage her hearing? #1stimemom #advicepls #pleasehelp #firstbaby #babygirl

She probably cried because the sound gave her a scare. She should be fine. If you’re worried, monitor for the next couple of days and bring her to the PD.
