Pregnancy dismissal

Has anyone got dismissed from job after informing employee that you were pregnant and subsequently received a maternity compensation after seeking help from MOM? Thanks

Have not been dismissed before but it’s good to bring it up to MOM. Employers should not dismiss employees and they’re protected under MOM law
