Polyps during pregnancy

I had sudden bleeding (blood filled my panty liner) during 28 weeks. Went to emergency and found out I had a cervical polyp. Had to be admitted into hospital as doctors afraid the bleeding might irritate the uterus causing preterm labour. I stayed one night in the hospital and the bleeding stopped, so was discharged. As long as there's no fresh bleeding, doctor says it's fine. However, no intercourse during this period as it might cause the polyp to bleed. Currently 32 weeks and no bleeding after that episode.
