It might be braxton hicks. I had mild period-like cramps in my lower abdominal area around that time. Twice it was very intense and I thought it was contractions but they went away after 30mins. To be honest, my early labour contractions felt the same as Braxton hicks. The only difference was that it escalated in intensity overtime and the pain didn't go away. I would suggest to monitor and if the pain doesn't go away or it increases intensity, to contact your health care provider. Hope all goes well for you!
