Zrytec D safe?

Zyrtec-R or if you check the actual medication content, cetirizine 10mg is safe. I have been taking cetirizine/zyrtec-r 10mg daily before pregnancy till I’m 16 weeks now, and will still continue because i have chronic allergies. Gynae has also confirmed it’s safe. So do check that it’s cetirizine 10mg if you wanna be safe.

Zyrtec-d’s is not safe for pregnancy due to the oral decongestant . You can take zyrtec-r for symptoms like runny nose, sneezing & itching of nose/eyes. If got blocked nose can try nasal spray.

NOPE. During pregnancy, you are only allowed to Paracetamol, at a recommended dosage.

Zyrtec-R is more suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

Zytec is fine, but best check with the pharmacist
