Do you allow your in-laws to go out with your babY?

What are your concerns? I personally think that it is good for baby to spend time with both sets of grandparents. My friends sometimes leave their babies with their parents or their in-laws and go on a date with their partners. ;) Their parents and in-laws are all familiar with their children’s schedule. While the older folks are more indulgent and not as strict when it comes to disciplining the children, all of my friends stressed upon their children that different set of rules apply when they are with their grandparents and when they are home. Stating that right from day one help prevent their children from being confused by the inconsistencies. Take time to adapt, but they will understand eventually.
