Induce without Epidural Week 39

Question

Hello, currently on week 38+2 and will be induce next week as advice by gynae. Didn’t wait till EDD as afraid baby is too big by then. Cervix check on Week 38, it was rather slight painful and uncomfortable and 0 dilation in which I’m afraid to go through again, but have tooo. Any mummies can share the process of it and your advice?First time mom, and worries a lot on the pain. Induce without epidural experience to share? #firsttimemom #advicepls #firstbaby

hi mummy! I was induced at week 39 with 2 prostin tablets at 12hr interval but dilation wasnt progressing. contractions were bearable for me! After that my gynae put on drips on me to speed up the dilation which also intensified the contractions - I opted for epidural at this stage as the pain was unbearable for me. my labour in total was 32hrs. I wish u smooth delivery!
