Contractions 30 minutes apart

Currently 38 weeks and 2 days. I’ve been having contractions that average around 30 minutes apart in the last 3 hours. It feels like period cramps but much more intense. I’m also having stomachache and I’ve been to the toilet a few times. Should I go to the hospital now or continue to wait until they are closer together?

Call the delivery suite and they'll advice you on what to do. Either to monitor or to come down. Don't go down straight or you might be ask to go home if you're not in an active labour yet.
