39+2 days - no sign of labour

Considering if I should be induce before week 40, or wait out till week 41? Hoping bb will be out so that don’t have to induce, but no signs… #FTM

If this is your first child it might be long. It depend if your gynae/doctor allow to hold till 41 weeks. For me in NUH they allow to hold till 41 weeks and give me letter for induce if no sign of labour within 1 week. However, for KKH I wasn't allow to exceed 41 weeks since it is my second child. I wasn't induce at 40 weeks 1 day. Give birth next day.
