Craving for cold water / ice

My Chinese family believe that cold is not good for me and baby but I keep craving for ice cold water and also to chew on ice. Is this normal? Is it okay? #pregnancy

I took all kinds cold drinks during my pregnancy, not just cold water. And baby born healthy. Just remember to drink in moderation
