Craving for cold water / ice

My Chinese family believe that cold is not good for me and baby but I keep craving for ice cold water and also to chew on ice. Is this normal? Is it okay? #pregnancy

Try to limit as much as possible. I try nt to take cold drinks but just can’t help it either.
