For basic cooking, eg. boiling water, maggi mee, fry egg... as soon as it is safe for them to be near cooking stove etc but for actual dishes...one has to have interest and passionate...otherwise disaster...young or old
i believe as soon as they are ready, it can start with the preparation of ingredients or helping out around the kitchen first. kids are more capable than we think they are
As long as they show interest and it is up to us parents to expose them to activities that can possibly discover their interest - instead of extensive screen time.
I think cooking can wait to as late as when they go off for college
When they show interest. That will, they will really enjoy it too
Probably when they're interested they will take to it better.
Anytime.. allow kids to explore activities in the kitchen
I will start young when they are in the kitchen with me
If they have an interest and when they show an interest
No point trying to teach if they are not interested
