If you intend to raise your child on a vegan diet, you'll need to ensure that your child has enough protein and iron. This can be gained from two or three servings of nuts or vegetable proteins. Fortified breakfast cereal, dark green vegetables, beans and lentils are excellent sources of iron. Vitamin C in fruits and vegetables aid the body in absorbing iron, so do include it in your child's diet. You'll need Vitamin D & B12 supplements when you breastfeed as well. http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/vegetarian-vegan-children.aspx
