#QOTD

First time mom here with 4 months old baby boy. Dati dalaga pa ko sinasabi ko na "bakit kasi nya pinabayaan sarili nya" well you wouldn't know until you're in their shoes tlga. I realize mahirap pla tlga. Who wouldn't agree for a self care. Gusto nten lahat yan pero nde lahat nagagawa yan. Madaling sabihin pero with the right mindset, focus and time management - WE moms CAN DO IT! aja!

Yes! It is important for us Moms to still take care of ourselves. How can we give our 100% to our child/children if we are not complete. From time to time I include simple yoga and cardio exercise into my schedule. I read articles and indulge to some icecream or chips when my child is asleep😄. I call my friends to chit chat when I get a chance. These are few things I do as SELF CARE.Physical and mental care are important Mommies.Do the things that you love!❤

Super yes. As an advocate for “Love Yourself” campaign, I always tell people (including myself) that self-care/love is VERY IMPORTANT, because we can give something that we don’t have. What we give our baby, husband, family and even other people are the “extras” of what we have. That’s why we need to fuel up ourselves first before we can give to other people.

Being a mom doesn't mean neglecting to have your "me time". Try to have at least 1-3 minutes in each day in reflecting and reconnecting to God. Always check your mental health and never ever let anybody tell that "naging nanay ka lang nakalimutan mo na sarili mo" HINDI KA NANAY LANG, NANAY KA ! It doesn't matter how they think of you right now, you can bounce back in a couple of years from now. Let this moment make you feel who you really are.

it's not bad to take care of yourself too... baka sabihin ng iba nagkaasawa lang at nagka anak losyang na 😅... and also we need to stay beautiful sa harap ng ating mga hubby 😍 kaya self care is important para hindi sila maghanap ng iba at sexy 😂... ako bilang wife and nanay, i do my self care through makeups, and dresses and shoes... i still wear sexy clothes na babagay nman sa pagiging mommy ☺️...

You can't pour from an empty cup. Plus self care is important, not only for the sake of the kids/family but also for yourself because you need and deserve that as a person. I have a toddler and a 1 month old so mu self care is mainly my night shower, a bit of skin care routine, and doing some of my hobbies. I make sure to keep myself hydrated, and appreciate the small things throughout the day.

I' am a first time Mom and my baby boy is now 1 year old. I believe that caring for yourself is beneficial for your baby and family. A mom who cares for her well being will be more healthy and "sane" when caring for the family so still make it a point to have a time out for myself to go to the mall or go for grocery shopping as this is a therapy for me. Also, a day in the spa is great too!!
