Can give brown cane sugar for 7.5mth old baby?

Baby is having very bad cough. There's no cough med for children below 2yrs old. Elders recommended giving brown rock sugar.. Is it safe..? #advicepls #firsttimemom #firstbaby

Have you seen a PD? It is best to get check - nose, throat and lungs to find a root cause of the bad cough

I did.. baby is less than 2yrs n lungs are clear, so doc can't give cough med.. instead was given med for runny nose only.. that's y thought of trying traditional method.. baby is struggling alot with the mucus buildup..
