my mum gave water to my gal too. until pd and tcm doctor told her it's not required. the rationale being, there's no nutrients in water and it will reduce their milk intake after drinking water. too much water can also burden their kidneys that are still developing and may cause issue in future milk should be their only source of liquid till they start solid food at 6mth.

Not at all. 15 days is too young! For now only milk, nothing else. Pls do not listen to elderly people if they ask you to feed water to your baby. It's very dangerous! Only sips of water when baby has start solid which is around 5-6 mths when your baby's PD says can start solid. Baby's main is still milk until 1 yrs old.
