I wasn't allowed to shower after birth. I was put on bed rest for the next 6 hours after birth. I'm not even allowed to go to the bathroom. Nurse will help me by my bedside if I need to urinate or pass motion. I had vaginal delivery with stitches for the tear and I took epidural too. Maybe it's cause of that.

Hi the nurses will give you towel and extra gown if you want to shower! Or you can always request from them if you want to! But im not sure how you would prepare the herbal bath as no pail/boiling water
