Spotting for the first trimester

5-6 weeks here but I’ve been having light spotting (brown) every other day. V v light cramps but not often also. Not sure if i should bring forward my gynae appt scheduled at 7 weeks. Is it common?

yes it’s very common and brown is normal. as long as it’s not bright red and filling a whole pad. i had it during mine too. light cramps is due to uterus expanding.
