Not at all. Kids development differs hence, need not worry. They will slowly sometimes roll side to side then will be on their tummy, start crawling, etc. My first child about 6 to 6 months while my second child at 3 months. I let them be to try on their own. But, Ill do tummy time from 3/4 months to practice head/neck strength.
