Breast pump

1) First time mummy to-be! I need suggestions. Should i invest on an expensive breastpump which cost like $400plus or just buy an affordable brand one which cost less than $100? Dont want to be splurging on an expensive breastpump but end up getting disappointed. But i intend to breastfeed my child! :) any opinions? 2) Also, which is better? A hands-free breastpump or normal one? Help! Ty in advance!

oh yes, I do recommend investing in a good pump right from the start and I am very happy with my wireless Spectra Compact. I would suggest to buy the flanges after birth and after a lactation consultant at the hospital has helped you to measure your size. just to share, I also didn't want to splurge when I had my first born so i used a secondhand breastpump that didn't get good yield and I suffered mastitis twice. it was a terribly difficult breastfeeding journey that still got me emotional thinking about it. I wish you all the best!
