Pregnancy

Tofu is safe to eat during pregnancy, and a great source of protein especially for vegetarian mums. High in calcium, it helps build strong bones in your developing baby.

Postpartum

Tofu is great for postpartum recovery and for the growth and repair of your cells, and immune function. It may help prevent bone degeneration due to its calcium content.

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding mothers can eat tofu. High in protein, calcium and essential nutrients, it can even act as a breast milk booster for some mums.

Baby

You can introduce tofu to your baby at around 8 months of age, in small quantities. It promotes good dental health and builds strong bones in your baby. Watch out for any allergic reactions and stop giving tofu immediately if you notice any.
