Pregnant women should avoid eating snake meat. Snakes are wild animals and may contain a variety of parasites.


Avoid snake meat in the postpartum period. While it has low fat content and high protein, snakes are mostly wild animals and it may contain a variety of parasites.


Avoid snake meat during breastfeeding. Wild snake meat may contain a large number of parasites, and cause infection after ingestion. It is unfavourable to both mothers' and babies' health.


Snake meat in not suitable for babies under the age of 11 months.
