Pregnancy

Pork liver is high in vitamin A, and too much of this vitamin during pregnancy could be harmful to your developing baby. Eat pork liver occasionally and in small amounts during pregnancy.

Postpartum

New mums, it's okay to eat pork liver. High in retinol, it's great for your skin and wound recovery. Eat in moderation.

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding mothers can eat pork liver as it is rich in iron. It can help prevent anemia and is a good protein to add to your diet. However, limit eating pork liver to 1-2 times a week and around 50 grams each time.

Baby

Pork liver is not suitable for babies under the age of 11 months.
