Whilst food which contains black cardamom is likely safe to consume whilst pregnant, do not consume black cardamom as a medicine as there is concern it may cause miscarriage.
Black cardamom has many health benefits and is used widely in TCM and Ayurvedic medicine. New mums can take black cardamom unless they are breastfeeding.
