9wks pregnant but doctor no prescribe folic acid.

How many mg or mcg do I need?previously get from pharmacy on my own they gave 5mg. is it too high? #Needadvice #askmommies #PregnancyAdvise

At least 400 mcg of folic acid. You can just go to the pharmacy to get any folic acid. Even their house brand is fine too.

1st visit to kkh at 6wks, no blood test, is it alright?

Usually referral letter from polyclinic to kkh, for 1st visit will have blood test?Only did ultra scan and urine test. height and weight too. #Needadvice #askmommies #PregnancyAdvise

I went for my first appt at 5+6 weeks, but it was still too early to see heartbeat for viability so they scheduled another appt 2 weeks later. only after confirming heartbeat did they do the blood test. hope this helps!
