Bottles Sterilizer recommendation

hi moms, I'm looking for a good and affordable sterilizer for our home. My friend recommended the UPANG, I like the idea of this machine can sterilize more than just bottles , it can also sterilize baby toys, phones, etc... However, the price is so high, also you'd have to change the UV light every 6 months or so. Is there another machine out there that might do same job or if there's anything works and affordable ?

If the lights are still good, you don’t need to change every 6 months.

instant oatmeal?

Does anyone know if instant oatmeal help with milk supply or do i have to eat the old fashion type? Thank you

Oatmeal in general helps. Some mommies find even oat cookies off the shelf helps

Going out with a new born?

I am about 2 1/2 weeks post partum; since I am able to do most things again, I ask my husband to take us out, so I don't feel all cooped up in the house. My mom is not very happy about it since she thinks I have to stay home for at least the first month, she has a list of what I can / can not do or eat (which most of them are superstitious or just old wife's tales), and since I had a C- section, she feels like I cant take a shower either. I don't do most of that. Does that means I'm wrong?

eat beef or water spinach after C section?

My mom and many other people told me if i end up have to get a C section then I can't eat beef or water spinach until the wound is healed, otherwise the wound will be ugly. Is it truth or myth?

Gestational diabetes

Since I am recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, Im having a hard time dealing with it. 1. Eating on a schedule is difficult since my work time is different everyday 2. Not enough time to cook to be eating on time. 3. Food choices are very limited 4. Hard to eat snacks when im at work. 5. Having hard time poking myself 4 times a day How do you cope with it if you also had gestational diabetes before?

Eat more fruits and vegetables. Avoid carbs and sugar.

Is if safe to eat chicken jerky?

Im wondering if chicken jerky is safe to eat than beef jerky? since chicken jerky is fully cooked and shredded chicken before mixing with anneto oil and some seasonings.

Safe is to avoid anything you feel unsure abt, but if craving strikes, i think shld be alright to eat 1 or 2 😅

mid/lower back pain and abdominal pain

We just found out we are pregnant for about 4 weeks, maybe less. I am experiencing period-like symptoms but worse, such as back pain that lasts for over an hour or so. Sometimes, the pain will shift from the back to the front. I tried everything i could think of, heat pad, stretches, elevate feet while sleeping, and end up still give in to Tylenol. Does anyone have the same problems and how do you do deal with it ?
