Patchy hair growth

Hi! Would like to ask is it normal for a 8mths old baby to have patchy hair growth? Recently we just shaved her head due to her lower part of hair not growing and now it started to grow patchy for the both side of her head. Any advice what I should do? Shave again?

Starting on solid food

Hi, my LO is 5 mths+, can I ask how to slowly start her with solid food? What should be given first and how to guage and how much milk to give too after giving solid food. Thanks
