if u get referral from the polyclinic, ur specialist appt at hospital will be subsidised but u r still required to co pay in cash/card etc

Also is there a tip to be careful during the first pregnancy, any food or drinks to avoid?

Avoid raw food, alcohol, caffeine. For me, i dont take any sweet drinks. Only drank water. I also ensure that I take fruits and vegetables everyday
