Is it normal for 7 weeks old to sleep for long hours?

Hi, isit normal to sleep for long hours? My baby slept ytd from 11pm + to 5.30am, then 7.34am to 12.38pm and now fall asleep again. I tried to wake him up but after looking irritated he continued sleeping. I’ve checked his temperature, all ok. Is it normal to suddenly slept this long or isit a growth spurt thing?

It's a very good thing if baby can sleep through the night, after 1 month you don't need to wake baby up to feed anymore. They need a lot of sleep now and it helps them grow. Enjoy your undisturbed sleep for now! 😁
