Anyone has done more survey on cord blood banking in Sg? What is the pros and cons between SCBB private banking vs private companies like Cordlife?

The difference is mainly is the techniques used to harvest the stem cells. Ultimately you are also looking at: 1. What is collected - cord blood, whole umbilical cord or a segment of umbilical, this would then determine 2. What types of stem cells 3. Are the stem cells isolated first before storage? Or are tissue stored and stem cells harvested later on? They're all accredited. You'd also want to look at their track records - has any of the storage been retrieved and used in transplantation.
