I’m halfway thru my pregnancy, and I’ve already gained 10kg. Is this normal or healthy? I didn’t experience much morning sickness throughout and my appetite has been better than ever. Is 10kg in 5months too much?

Very normal. I gained 12kg for first pregnancy, no morning sickness and appetite very gd. Now second pregnancy also gained abt 12-14kg and same symptoms as well

Partner not as excited as I’d expected

How excited are your husbands about your pregnancy and the growing baby in your bellies? Mine doesn’t feel like he’s very excited about it. He doesn’t asks how is the baby doing today, is it kicking, how do you feel today etc.. Are your husbands like that too? Am I over thinking things? Just feel like I’m the only excited one here.

yes. he is not as excited as me throughout the pregnancy. but he cares more on my well-being than the baby in the belly.

Worried about getting covid while pregnant.

I’m currently at 20 weeks. I have family members (living in the same household as me) and colleagues who are covid positive right now. And I’m really worried that I’d get covid next. As there are not much scientific research done to show how the virus affects the baby, I’m really worried about the possible effects. Can anyone share their research or thoughts on this issue? 😖

i know a few pregnant mummies who have gotten covid and are also worried for their babies’ growth. if research not done enough at this point i think nobody can say for sure for now
