For normal delivery. Some pregnancy has signs of labour, eg mucus plug came out, water bag burst, strong contractions or cervix dilated. & some not , which have to induction. Baby’s head down can be within the 3rd trim. If breeches, then c sect. So depends. Not all baby’s head down at the same week or time

Hi i am 37 weeks 7 days pregnant.... i feel lower back pain when i do some work or walk the pain become sharp,,,, i also have pain in my grion area i feel some tightening in my stomach at some intervals... feel so much pelvic pressure... i am confused with this symptoms.... i want to know when exactly my baby is born or they will born naturally by vagina or not... as i get afraid by c-section its my first baby

Hi, your pains are all very normal. Poor thing... it must be very difficult to bear. These aren’t signs of labour yet, though, but hang in there! Baby will come! And the pains will improve greatly thereafter. If baby’s head is down, you can definitely try for normal vaginal delivery. Of course, the midwives and your gynae will have to monitor your progress when you’re in labour, but you just focus on getting enough rest for now. Don’t overwork yourself, and if the pain is unbearable, you can take some panadol to help cope with it.
