- 2025-07-28Hi all, I’m a FTM working full-time and 34 weeks today. Looking to apply maternity leave from 37 weeks onwards and then 4 weeks SPL afterwards (remaining with 2 weeks SPL). This year April 2025 onwards as parents are given 6 weeks SPL, my husband decided to give me his share and I will have the full 6 weeks.
I would like to know for the remaining 2 weeks SPL I am planning to keep, can I use it like normal annual leave to take anytime? (To use when I have to settle matters for baby) Or how do I go about using the remaining 2 weeks SPL? Thanks! 😊 #firsttimemom

- 2025-07-28Hi mummies, this is my 2nd pregnancy after 5 years. My gynae confirmed mine is around 5 weeks plus after my check last week. After the ultrasound check and saw sac and yolk. The next day I noticed I started to have tiny bit of brown discharge when I pee. And it stopped till this morning (Tuesday, 29 Jul), there's a dot of brown discharge (or spotting) on my pantyliner. Just wondering do I need to be concern about this? I dont feel cramps or anything.#Needadvice
- 2025-07-29Woke up with a tinge of blood & brownish on my panty this morning but wasn't accompanied with any pains or contractions . Should I head to the hospital or shall I wait for the pain to kick in ? 🤔 4th pregnancy but never experience anything like that before .
Thanks in advance 💕

- 2025-07-30This is my first pregnancy, and honestly, I don’t know how to stay calm. I’m turning 20 weeks now, and I find myself overthinking a lot. My 20-week appointment is coming up, but I’m already spiralling. I haven’t felt any movements yet, and seeing stories of pregnancies that didn’t make it past this point has made the fear even worse. I’m trying to stay positive, but it’s hard. I’m so scared, and I don’t know how I’m supposed to live with this kind of anxiety until I finally get to hold my baby in my arms.

- 2025-07-31I saw that Avomilk by Xiaohealthy won awards related to pregnancy and claimed that it is safe during pregnancy. However, when searching on the ingredients, ChatGBT showed this for Tiger Milk Mushroom:
Tiger Milk Mushroom is used for boosting or regulating the immune system. During pregnancy, your immune system naturally shifts to protect the baby — and taking substances that interfere with this balance could pose risks (e.g., triggering inflammation or contractions). Even if the amount is small (1%), it’s best to avoid Tiger Milk Mushroom during pregnancy unless your OB or a certified herbalist recommends it.
No pregnancy safety studies (No clinical safety data in pregnant women — making it impossible to confirm it's harmless)
Because a fetus is highly sensitive, medical guidelines automatically advise against supplements without safety data — not because they are known to be harmful, but because there’s not enough evidence to say they’re harmless.
For now, I decided to avoid drinking it, but wondering if mums know about this?

- 2025-08-01Hi Mummies!
Just had my FTS this morning and the sonographer said my baby has an absent nasal bone. Couldn’t stop worrying :( we’re still waiting for the blood test tho! Probably need to wait for a week sigh. Any one who experienced the same? Could it be it’s just taking a little bit of time for the nasal bone to develop? #firsttimemom #Needadvice
