Lower left pain, is it normal?

Hi all, my wife is pregnant for 18 weeks now, she has a fibroid in her uterus and is suffering pain from the lower left, and sometimes on the right. Is it normal? I’ve been looking into related articles and most says that it’s because her uterus is expanding. She is taking Panadol to relieve the pain but it doesnt seems to be working so far. Need some advice here 🙏🏻

For your peace of mind, it's best to visit the gynae and let him/ her have a check. I've had similar pains and I had UTI (asymptomatic) instead. So everyone's body could be different, it's best to get it checked, especially since she has to take Panadol and it's not working to relieve her pain :)
